Ex-Golden Eaglets invitee Ebiowei a wanted man : New suitor for Crystal Palace winger
Published: January 03, 2023Malcolm Ebiowei continues to gain suitors ahead of a possible loan departure from Crystal Palace in the January transfer window.
According to a fresh update from Alan Nixon, via our colleagues at The 72, Queens Park Rangers have joined the race to sign the 2019 Golden Eaglets invitee this month.
Blackburn Rovers, Ipswich Town, Hull City and Swansea City are reportedly eager to sign him should Crystal Palace manager Patrick Vieira sanction a loan move.
Crystal Palace saw off competition from Manchester United to land the signature of Ebiowei from Derby County in the summer transfer window.
Vieira resisted the temptation to send Ebiowei out on loan as he felt the winger's development is best served at the Eagles, but things have not exactly worked out the way the manager had planned as the England U20 international has not played much.
The 19-year-old has logged only 57 minutes from a possible 1,620 in all competitions despite making every single matchday squad this season.
Hull City are reportedly in pole position to sign the talented teenager but QPR's proximity to Crystal Palace could play a factor in the proposed move of the former Chelsea and Arsenal schoolboy.
