 Nigerian exports : Onuachu, Ighodaro catch the eye; debut goal for Olatunji; Onyemaechi, Umar strike

Allnigeriasoccer.com's review of the Nigerian players that found the net for their respective foreign clubs in league matches on Sunday, January 29, 2023. 

 

Starting in the Belgian Pro League, Paul Onuachu's red-hot form continued as he netted a brace to help Racing Genk thrash 
RFC Seraing 4-0 at the Cegeka Arena.

 

Onuachu opened the scoring from the spot in the seventh minute before scoring his seventeenth of the season in all competitions on the hour mark when he nodded a cross from Trésor past the goalkeeper. 

 

New signing Aminu Umar netted his first goal for his new employer Belediyesi Bodrumspor in their 2-1 road win over 
Adanaspor at the Yeni Adana Stadyumu.

 

In what was his third appearance for Belediyesi Bodrumspor n the Turkish First League, Umar came off the bench to score a late 89th minute winner for the visitors. 

 

In the Czech First League, Victor Olatunji had a dream debut for Slovan Liberec, opening the scoring in their 1-1 draw with 
FK Pardubice at Stadion u Nisy.

 

Five minutes before the end of the first half, Olatunji was in the right place to tap the ball into the net after a corner was poorly defended by the visitors 

 

2022 Super Eagles invitee Bruno Onyemaechi scored Boavista's second goal in their 4-2 rout of Portimonense in the Portuguese Primeira Liga.

 

In the 53rd minute, Onyemaechi volleyed the ball into the net. It was his first goal in the league for Boavista since joining the club last summer. 


Over to the South African DStv Premiership, promising striker Etiosa Ighodaro scored for the third game in a row as Chippa United earned a 1-0 win over Maritzburg United 

 

The 21-year-old netted the winner in the 58th minute, taking his tally to seven in 14 games in 2022-2023.

 

As previously reported Napoli striker Victor Osimhen and Arsenal loanee Folarin Balogun were on target against AS Roma and PSG respecitively.
