PL opening day fixtures: Super Eagles stars Awoniyi, Dennis, Iwobi, Onyeka discover opponents

Through its official website, the Premier League has released the fixtures and dates for all the 380 matches that will be played in the English top-flight for the 2023-2024 season.
 

Everton will begin their campaign with a home clash against Fulham at Goodison Park, with two former England youth internationals of Nigerian descent in contention to feature if they don't move on to pastures new in the summer transfer window. 

Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi will be aiming to make his 222nd appearance in the top-flight and Tosin Adarabioyo his 59th for the Cottagers on Saturday, August 12. 

Nigeria international strikers Taiwo Awoniyi and Emmanuel Dennis' Nottingham Forest will begin the Premier League season with a trip to the Emirates Stadium to face Arsenal on Saturday, August 12. 

Awoniyi netted the winning goal in the penultimate round of matches in the Premier League last season, while Dennis has played three times against the Gunners in the past. 

Bournemouth will begin their campaign with the visit of West Ham United to Vitality Stadium on August 12.

One of the Cherries standout performers last season, Dominic Solanke is in line to feature as things stand. 

The new season starts for Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise's Crystal Palace with an away match against newly-promoted Sheffield United on Saturday, August 12.

On the opening day of the season, Brentford  take on Tottenham Hotspur at the Gtech Community Stadium on Sunday, August 13, with Super Eagles midfielder Frank Onyeka hoping to be involved for the Bees.
