Published: January 24, 2024
2023 Flying Eagles invitee Ademola Ola-Adebomi has reportedly signed a new contract at Premier League side Crystal Palace ahead of a loan move to the Football League.
Italian transfer market guru Fabrizio Romano has reported that talented Crystal Palace centre forward Ola-Adebomi has signed a one-year contract extension with the Eagles and will be immediately loaned out to continue his development.
Ola-Adebomi will spend the remainder of the season on loan at League One club Burton Albion.
The 20-year-old has been in spectacular form since the start of the season, mustering thirteen goals across all competitions for Palace's development squad, comprising seven in the Premier League 2, four in the Premier League Cup and one each in the EFL Trophy and Premier League International Cup.
He was shortlisted for the Premier League 2 Player of the Month for November and December 2023 on the back of his fine form.
Eagles boss Roy Hodgson is keeping tabs on the performances of the academy product, having named him in squads for Premier League games against Manchester United, Nottingham Forest and Manchester City plus the Carabao Cup match against the Red Devils.
Ola-Adebomi is set to link up with Arsenal academy product Tolaji Bola who has been loaned in by Burton Albion from Rotherham United for the rest of the season.
