Crystal Palace open to selling powerful striker who trained with the Flying Eagles in 2023
Published: April 30, 2025
Thirteen years after joining Crystal Palace, Ademola Ola-Adebomi is being linked with a permanent departure from the Premier League club.
Described as a powerful centre-forward by Crystal Palace's official website, Ola-Adebomi was among the dual-national players that trained with the Flying Eagles before the 2023 Africa U20 Cup of Nations, but he didn't make the cut for the tournament in Egypt.
According to Football Insider, Crystal Palace are planning to offload Ola-Adebomi at the end of the season, putting a number of English Football League clubs on alert.
The London native spent the first half of the season at Belgian outfit SK Beveren, where he made eight appearances in the Challenger Pro League, but was recalled in the January transfer window due to insufficient playing opportunities.
Despite his struggles in Belgium, Ola-Adebomi has been firing on all cylinders since returning to Crystal Palace, scoring nine goals in ten outings for the development squad in the league, and was nominated for February's Premier League 2 Player of the Month.
Crystal Palace are willing to listen to offers for the left-footed striker, who will enter the final year of his contract with the Eagles on July 1, 2025.
Though Ola-Adebomi has yet to make his senior debut for Selhurst Park outfit, he has received four call-ups for first team games, remaining an unused substitute each time.
