Former Everton defender: Lewis-Potter had 'real problems' against Nottingham Forest fullback Ola Aina

Former Everton defender Andy Hinchcliffe has stated that Brentford's Keane Lewis-Potter endured a difficult night against Nigerian fullback Ola Aina in Forest's 2-0 loss against the Bees at the City Ground on Thursday.
Aina, returning from a month-long injury layoff, was reinstated in the starting XI despite strong recent performances from Neco Williams.
The Nigerian international had been sidelined since sustaining an injury during Forest’s 1-0 win over Manchester United in April, missing three Premier League fixtures and an FA Cup tie during his absence.
Despite the time out, Aina wasted no time making an impact. His dynamic link-up play with winger Anthony Elanga caused consistent problems for Brentford, particularly on the right flank.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Andy Hinchcliffe pointed out Lewis-Potter’s visible struggles in dealing with Aina and Elanga's combination.
"He's got real problems with Aina and Elanga," Hinchcliffe said.
"He just turns his back and blocks him off. Thomas Frank has Rico Henry on the bench, he may not be fully fit. But it's a risk leaving Lewis-Potter out there!"
Aina delivered a strong performance before being substituted in the 75th minute for Ibrahim Sangaré, though the Nigeria international was caught on his heels, allowing Kevin Schade to get in and score the opener in the 44th minute.
He registered four clearances, two tackles, and one interception, while also contributing two key passes, a successful dribble, and drawing a foul.
The Super Eagles defender will be looking to maintain this form as Nottingham Forest continue their push to secure a European qualification spot — with hopes still alive for a Champions League berth.
