10 goals in last 5 games: Red-hot striker Musa nets brace for Manchester United youth team
Published: May 03, 2025
Spanish-born Nigerian striker Victor Musa now has ten goals in his last five games in the U18 Premier League, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.
The former Spain and England U16 international scored a brace on Friday evening to inspire the young Red Devils to a 4-0 win over Stoke City in an U18 Premier League match held at Aon Training Complex.
With fifteen minutes on the board, a very neat and tidy finish from Musa got Manchester United on their way.
Manchester United were presented with an opportunity to double their advantage in the 56th minute when Dante Plunkett stole in and he was wiped out by the Potters goalkeeper.
While the penalty decision was contentious, Musa's finish could not be questioned as he sent the goalkeeper the wrong way.
The 18-year-old came close to getting a hat-trick when a rebound fell to him, but a last-ditch challenge denied him.
In the 84th minute, an own goal saw United increase their lead, before Joseph Gabriel made a real impact off the bench, wrapping up the scoring in the first minute of stoppage time.
Musa has scored 18 goals across all competitions for Manchester United’s youth teams this season—15 in the U18 Premier League, 2 in the National League Cup, and 1 in the EFL Trophy.
