Confirmed: Nigerian duo return to Crystal Palace after loan spells with EFL clubs
Published: May 14, 2025
Newly promoted EFL League One side Bradford City have announced their retained and released list following the conclusion of the 2024–2025 campaign, confirming the departure of several loan players, including Crystal Palace's Nigerian defender Tayo Adaramola.
The 21-year-old, who represents the Republic of Ireland at U21 level, is among five players set to return to their parent clubs.
Adaramola joined the Bantams in the winter transfer market after spending the first half of the season with Stockport County and went on to register three assists in 16 appearances for Bradford City.
His contributions helped the club secure promotion to League One.
Adaramola has previously received ten senior call-ups at Crystal Palace, making appearances in two competitive fixtures for the Premier League side.
Also returning to Selhurst Park is exciting forward Asher Agbinone, who spent the second half of the season on loan at FC Gillingham.
The 19-year-old, who made his Premier League debut for Palace against Nottingham Forest in October and featured again at home against Fulham in November, made six appearances during his stint in League Two.
The return of both players marks the end of their respective loan spells as they rejoin Crystal Palace ahead of preseason preparations.
