England U18 call-ups for son of ex-Super Eagles star and Nigerian forwards from Arsenal, Southampton
Published: May 19, 2025
England U18 head coach Liam Bramley has named four Nigeria-eligible players in his 20-man squad for the team's final two fixtures of the 2024–25 season, a double-header against Morocco’s Young Atlas Lions later this month.
The squad includes Arsenal duo Khari Ranson and Andre Harriman-Annous, Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Wes Okoduwa — son of former Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Okoduwa — and Southampton's record-breaking striker Nicholas Oyekunle.
Ranson, who has previously featured for England U18s, is also eligible to play for Nigeria and Ghana.
Harriman-Annous qualifies for Nigeria, Ghana, Lebanon and England, and has earned his first international call-up after a breakout season at Arsenal, where the first-year scholar scored on his full debut in five separate youth competitions and trained multiple times with the senior squad.
Okoduwa, born in New York, is eligible for the United States in addition to Nigeria and England.
He has also represented England U16 and U17 teams in non-competitive matches.
Oyekunle, meanwhile, has been rewarded for a historic season with Southampton, becoming the all-time top scorer in U18 Premier League history with 38 goals, surpassing Manchester United's Chido Obi.
England U18s will face Morocco on May 25 and May 28 at the Complexe Mohammed VI de Football in Sale.
