Bright Ede transfer: Polish club to decide between Chelsea, mystery PL club and Portuguese giants

Polish Ekstraklasa club Motor Lublin are edging closer to making a final decision on the future of highly-rated defender Bright Ede.
According to TVPSPORT.PL, Motor Lublin are aiming to conclude negotiations by next week, with three clubs still in the running for the Warsaw-born central defender of Nigerian descent.
Ede, who played in all of Motor Lubin's pre-season friendlies, did not feature in the season opener against Arka Gdynia on Sunday despite being fully fit.
With transfer talks still underway, Motor Lublin chose not to field the 18-year-old against Arka Gdynia to avoid the risk of injury.
Ede is genuinely attracting interest from two Premier League clubs, including Chelsea, as well as one of Portugal's top sides, believed to be either Benfica or Sporting CP.
Motor are reportedly demanding over €10 million for the defender and are determined to break the Ekstraklasa's all-time transfer fee record.
While financial terms are crucial, Motor Lublin are also prioritising the sporting project on offer.
Motor Lublin are leaning towards a deal that provides Ede with the best opportunity for regular playing time and development.
However, they have ruled out any transfer that includes a loan-back arrangement that would see Ede remain at Motor Lubin.
In the second half of last season, Ede made six appearances for Motor Lublin in the Polish top-flight, marking his debut in style with a goal against Stal Mielec on March 30.
Bright is eligible to represent the Super Eagles through his father Lucky Ede who resides in Warsaw with his Polish wife.
