'I support Man Utd' – Son of former Super Eagles star Etuhu reveals after move to Blackpool

Zaccai Etuhu, the son of former Super Eagles midfielder Dickson Etuhu, has revealed his admiration for Premier League giants Manchester United following his recent move to Blackpool.

His father, Dickson Etuhu, was a key figure for the Super Eagles, representing Nigeria at both the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations and the 2010 Fifa World Cup in South Africa.

Six days ago, Blackpool announced the signing of Zaccai Etuhu from Accrington Stanley on a scholarship agreement.

In a feature shared on Blackpool's official Instagram account, the young winger introduced himself to fans and shared insight into his football journey and inspirations.

"My name is Zaccai Etuhu. I play as a left winger or right winger. I've played for Accrington Stanley, and I support Manchester United," he said.

Zaccai also spoke about one of his most memorable moments on the pitch.

"My favourite football memory is scoring a free-kick from twenty yards out. My favourite subject is PE."

The right-footed winger, who wears Adidas boots and idolises Cristiano Ronaldo, will be hoping to make a strong impression at his new club as he continues to follow in the footsteps of his father, Dickson.

Dickson Etuhu earned 20 caps for Nigeria and played for several English clubs including Manchester City, Norwich City, Preston North End, Blackburn Rovers, Fulham and Sunderland.

He made 111 appearances in the Premier League, scoring four goals and providing three assists.

Etuhu was a key member of the Fulham side that suffered a heartbreaking extra-time defeat to Atlético Madrid in the 2010 UEFA Europa League final.
