'Amazing club' - What future Arsenal player Ozhianvuna said after agreeing deal
Published: October 04, 2025
Shamrock Rovers forward Victor Ozhianvuna has taken to social media to celebrate his agreement with Premier League giants Arsenal.
The Gunners and Shamrock Rovers have reached a club-to-club agreement for the transfer of the Republic of Ireland U18 international of Nigerian descent, with the move to be completed on January 10, 2027 when he attains the age of majority.
Ozhianvuna has been on the books of Shamrock Rovers since the age of six, rising through the ranks to make his senior debut in a Leinster Senior Cup clash with Usher Celtic in January 2025.
To date, he has featured in sixteen matches for the first team, netting his first senior goal in a 4-0 rout of Wexford FC in July 2025.
Writing on Instagram, Ozhianvuna stated: "Delighted to have signed for this amazing club that I have supported since I was a boy excited to get started.
"Thank you to everyone who has helped me get here and thank you God for everything you’ve done for me."
Victor, who turned sixteen in January, made his League of Ireland Premier Division debut for the Hoops in the opening fixture of the season against Bohemians at the Aviva Stadium.
Since then, he has been a regular feature in the first-team squad.
The talented youngster also marked his European debut when he came off the bench in the home leg of the UEFA Conference League play-off tie against Molde.
