Israeli outfit Bnei Sakhnin are close to finalizing a deal to sign Nigerian forward Yero Bello. For the past one week, the 24 - year- old had been training with the Premier League club.

One.co.il says there are now funds available to spend for Bnei Sakhnin after the sale of Ivorian midfielder Joel Damahou to Maccabi Haifa for 150, 000 euros. It is money from the sale of Damahou that the club plan to use to sign Bello.

Yero Bello has impressed coach Shlomi Dora at training and will play his first test game against  Maccabi Daliat El Karmel on Thursday.

Bello is not a stranger in Israel. He played for Maccabi Haifa, Hapoel Nazareth Illit,  Ironi Kiryat Shmona and Hapoel Haifa from 2005 - 2010.
