Yussuf Ayila: Eagles Have 90 Percent Chance Of Winning Afcon
Published: January 18, 2013
Out-of-favor Nigeria international Yussuf Ayila has commented on the chances of the Super Eagles winning silverware at the African Cup of Nations.
''We have many good players who play in Europe, and a good coach. So our chances of winning the tournament are quite good. Rate them as 80-90%,'' Ayila told dynamomania.com.
On Thursday, Ayila played at the traditional winter tournament Memorial Makarova for the reserve team of Dynamo Kiev. It is clear that he would remain with Dynamo Kiev II squad if he does not get a new club in the winter transfer market.
''It's not very nice, but this is football, that I play for the second team. I train in the expectation that I get a new club. I had to agree to this step at this time until I find a new team.
''I hope to find a new club in the next few days. Regardless of whether or not I stay, I stay professional and I will perform my duties with full dedication,'' adds Ayila.
Yussuf Ayila's contract with Dynamo Kiev expires in the summer of 2015.
