Chelsea Sporting Director and former Nigeria international Mike Emenalo will boss Jose Mourinho when he arrives Stamford Bridge this summer, according to the Daily Mirror.
Authoritative British newspaper The Sun says Mourinho has agreed to take up the managerial vacancy at the Europa League finalist.
But the biggest obstacle facing the Portuguese gaffer is the presence of Emenalo, who will be responsible for managerial decisions. The two men have a frosty relationship but must work together.
Michael Emenalo was appointed sporting director of Chelsea on July 8, 2011 and since then has become the most trusted ally of club owner Roman Abramovich.
