Anthony Ujah Praying For Promotion
Published: May 04, 2013New Super Eagles invitee Anthony Ujah is leaving no stone unturned in his quest to assist Cologne gain promotion to the Bundesliga.
The Billy Goats, who currently trail Kaiserslautern by one point, are away to Bochum on Saturday. Before that fixture, Ujah, top scorer for Cologne, visited the cathedral to pray for success.
''I often come here. I pray often. For the poor, for those who have no one that God will help them. For my family. And yes, I also pray for the rise,'' Ujah said to express.de.
He went on: ''Cologne is truly amazing to me, the city, the club and the fans always have a place in my heart. And so I will give everything to the last day for Cologne.
''I came here to be promoted with Cologne and everything is still possible. Although the situation is not easy for me: I do not know where I am next year.''
Anthony Ujah will return to Mainz, the rightful owners of the Nigerian, at the end of the season, except Cologne are ready to fork out big money to hold on to him.
