Olarenwaju Kayode In Advanced Talks With Beitar Jerusalem
Published: June 28, 2013
Israeli Premier League side Beitar Jerusalem are ready to break their piggy bank to secure the signature of Nigeria Under 20 National Team striker Olarenwaju Kayode, whose goal against South Korea on Thursday ensured the Flying Eagles passage to the second round of the Fifa Under 20's, informs one.co.il.
Since Kayode ended his loan spell with FC Luzern just over a year ago, he has been without a club and has undergone trials with Dinamo Minsk and Charlton Athletic.
His case is complicated as he still belongs to Ivorian side Asec Mimosas, even though it has been widely reported that he's a free agent.
Therefore, any club that wants to purchase the Nigeria youth - teamer must be willing to meet Asec Mimosas valuation of the attacker.
As it is the norm in Israel, Beitar Jerusalem plan to acquire Olarenwaju Kayode, then sell him to a big European club in future at a premium.
Representatives of Beitar Jerusalem chief, Eli Tabib are in advanced talks with the young Nigerian striker.
