Heerenveen Dismiss Sensational Reports Linking Club With Taiwo Awoniyi

Eredivisie side Heerenveen have distanced themselves from reports linking them with a move for Taiwo Awoniyi.
Local media had sensationally claimed that the Nigeria youth international would be loaned out to The Super Frisians from Liverpool as he does not qualify for a work permit that will enable him play in the English Premier League.
But retired South Africa international Hans Vonk went straight to the point when quizzed about the possibility of the United Academy product arriving the Abe Lenstra Stadium and rubbished the reports from Africa.
“It is not true, ” Hans Vonk, sporting director of Heerenveen , told feanonline.nl briefly.
Seyi Olofinjana, the owner of Imperial Academy, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Kalmar in 2014 and has been paid a minimum of 25,000 euros, being part of Taiwo Awoniyi’s transfer fee.
