Rizespor Yet To Begin Contract Talks With Godfrey Oboabona

Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Rizespor are yet to begin talks with Super Eagles stopper Godfrey Oboabona over the extension of his contract.

In the summer, the former Sunshine Stars skipper will enter the final twelve months of his contract with the Turkish Super Lig side, meaning he can sign a preliminary contract with another club in the January transfer window.

As things stand, Godfrey Oboabona is undecided whether or not he’ll prolong his deal whenever he is offered a new contract.

The center half arrived the The Black Sea Sparrowhawk in August 2013 for a fee thought to be in the region of 500,000 euros.

The 25-year-old has played 31 games in all competitions this season, scoring one goal.
