Seven Nigerians Make Arsenal 16-Man Squad Vs Aston Villa, Olayinka Hits Winner

As many as seven players of Nigerian descent were included in Arsenal's 16-man squad for the U18 Premier League fixture against Aston Villa at Shenley Training Centre (Hertfordshire) on Saturday afternoon.
Joseph Olowu and his good friend Tobi Omole started in defense for the Gunners, James Olayinka slotted into one of the attacking midfield positions, and the highly-rated Folarin Balogun led their charge for goals upfront.
Goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo, David Agbontohoma and the 15-year-old Armstrong Okoflex were among the five substitutes.
James Olayinka scored the only goal of the game in the 34th minute, it was his first competitive goal for the Gunners at this level.
Okoflex, a Republic of Ireland and England U15 international, made his debut for Arsenal U18s after he replaced Olayinka with 15 minutes left on the clock.
