The future of Ross Barkley continues to dominate the headlines in England, with Arsenal reigniting their interest in the Everton midfielder of Nigerian descent.
Various reports in the English press claim that the Gunners want to reinforce their midfield and will make a bid for Barkley's services before the transfer window closes.
The attacking midfielder was tipped to join Tottenham Hotspur but they have been put off by Everton's asking price and the player's wage demands.
The 23-year-old injured himself in training this week and could spend the next six weeks on the sidelines.
Chelsea, Manchester United, Manchester City and West Ham have been credited with an interest in Barkley this summer.
