Published: November 04, 2022Former Super Eagles invitee Eberechi Eze has won his second Crystal Palace award in two days.
The official website of Crystal Palace reported on Friday that Eze has won Crystal Palace's Goal of the Month award for October 2022.
The attacking midfielder saw off competition from 2019 Golden Eaglets invitee Malcolm Ebiowei, Wilfried Zaha, Fionn Mooney, Anna Filbey and Hindolo Mustapha to win the Goal of the Month accolade.
Eze won the award for his match-winning strike against Leeds United in a Premier League game at Selhurst Park on October 9, 2022.
Fourteen minutes from time, the ex-England U21 international ran across the edge of the area and fired into the bottom corner.
Eze scooped 48 percent of the vote to place first, with Ebiowei coming fifth with three percent of the vote.
The 24-year-old was named Palace's Player of the Month for October 2022 with approximately 35 percent of the vote, his third POTM since his arrival at the Eagles from Queens Park Rangers, having previously won it in January 2021 and November 2020.
