Nigeria secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Libya's Mediterranean Knights to cement their top spot in Group D of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Lazio midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru was the hero for the Super Eagles on Friday evening, coming off the bench to score the game-winning goal just four minutes from time to save the Super Eagles from an embarrassing draw at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.
