Nigeria, England, Lebanon or Ghana: Arsenal products Harriman-Annous' make decisions on int'l future
Published: April 09, 2025
Arsenal's Hale End Academy products, Brandon Harriman-Annous and his younger brother Andre, have made decisions on their international future, allngeriasoccer.com can exclusively report.
The Harriman-Annous brothers are spoilt for choice when it comes to their international future as they are both eligible to represent the national teams of England, Nigeria, Lebanon and Ghana.
With Brandon and Andre turning heads at Hull City and Arsenal this season, speculation about which national team they will choose is heating up.
While Brandon won Hull City's Goal of the Month for February with his outstanding strike against Coventry City U21s, it's only a matter of time before Andre earns his first senior Arsenal call-up, having trained with the first-team players numerous times this season.
Andre's exclusion from England's Young Lions squads for the March internationals came as a surprise, but this website can confirm he was on the standby list.
The 17-year-old is having a banner season with sixteen goals in all competitions for the Gunners youth teams, including strikes on his full debuts in the UEFA Youth League, Premier League 2, FA Youth Cup, EFL Trophy and U18 Premier League Cup.
The English Football Association has to act fast to secure Andre's services as the highly talented forward has not ruled out the possibility of playing for Nigeria.
Brandon's situation is more straightforward as the midfielder's preferred choice is Nigeria, and he aims to be called up to the Flying Eagles squad for the 2025 Fifa U20 World Cup, provided they qualify for the tournament in Chile this fall.
The Amuneke, Nwakali, Babangida, Oliseh and Kanu brothers have all donned the Nigerian jersey at youth level in years gone by.
