IZUNNA UZOCHUKWU Disappointed With Red Card
Published: October 22, 2012
FC Midtjylland's Izunna Uzochukwu says he is disappointed to be sent off by match referee Lars Christoffersen in Sunday's 1 - 1 draw with OB Odense, writes bold. dk citing Ekstra Bladet.
Early in the second half, Izunna Uzochukwu received two yellow cards within a few minutes, and the referee sent him to have an early bath, which the Nigerian player did not think was quite fair.
''I said some harsh words coming out of the track. I have nothing to say about his performance. I can accept the second yellow card, I got the tackle over the limit, but not the first,'' Izunna told Ekstra Bladet.
The red card was the hard working Izunna's first ever in the Danish Super League.
